I went a little overboard on Christmas presents for my wife this year (and the kid, but that's normal

) and she felt bad because she didn't spend nearly as much as I did. So, she told me I could buy a gun for myself, from her, for Christmas.

I've already got a couple Remington 1100s, and I needed a shotgun for 3-gun. Instead of converting one of my 1100s for 3-gun, I just decided to buy this:

It's a Remington 1100 TAC-4 12ga. It has an 8 shot tube, 22" barrel (Rem-chokes), "tactical" bolt handle and a few other goodies. Pretty much exactly how I wanted my 3-gun build to go... Right out of the box! It came-up to $712 shipped to my FFL from Bud's, but I'm worth it!

I guess that frees-up my "extra" 1100 to become a 14" SBS now.

Lookin good man.. kinda makes me want to add a semi auto shotty to the buy list for the year.

Very nice. I think that's gonna be my next auto shotgun purchase (need me a nice O/U to dove/quail hunt with first).
