M28 sig

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago from a friend.marthon import and 99% blue and mirror bright bore.
loaded up some cast bullets and headed out to the range.its a shooter.

first group was shot with the rear sight set at 200 meters the top group on the 300 meter setting thats a 10 rd group.
160 gr gc .311
13.0 grs red dot
S&B brass
win lr primer

Wow...thats one of the harder Finnish Mosins to find...way to go. I still kick myself for not buying a ski-trooper configuration M28 at a gunshow in the 90s for 100 bucks....yeah, I passed on it - oh the humanity!

Most all of the Finnish Mosins are tackdrivers. My 1937 Tikka M-27 and 44 Sako M-39 are very accurate. Not as accurate as my K-31 or 3 Swede Mausers...but very close.

Now...if we could just procure a cheap supply of 54R surplus, I could bring my Mosins out to play once again.

the days of cheap 7.62x54R milsurp are gone.I only shoot handloads in my finn's and sniper so its not that bad.I rat holed a "bunch" of new norma/laupa brass and bought some bullet molds.I knew the day would come when we would run out of commie ammo.stock up boys the golden age of cheap ammo is gone.
