Any Sig P250 owners?

Checking to see if anyone has procured the new Sig P250? I took a look at them yesterday thinking this could be the one to seperate me from my beloved GLOCKs. To say the least I was disappointed with the overall feel of the gun. It just felt hollow, cheap and lacked character to me. Maybe it's just me but it looked and felt just like a glorified Sig Mosquito. Keep in mind I didn't shoot the gun, this is just from a handling perspective. I could very well have a different opinion if I would have fired the gun, which I plan to do in the near future.

How was the trigger? Supposedly, the trigger is better than the DAK SIGs. I shot a DAK 229 in 40SW and was shocked at how short and light the trigger was. Beat the daylights out of every DAO pistol I have ever handled and was one DAO that I could live with.

Also, how were they priced? I have not seen one in our stores and wonder how they're priced.

I didn't dry fire the pistol so I couldn't comment about the trigger action. Seems like they were priced at $570. I really want to like this gun but I can't seem to get past the "lack of character" feel that it gives me.

Just by looking at it, its nothing I would trade my Glock or XD for.

I haven't felt it yet, but it looks similar to the FN-P9, but I really liked the feel and quality of the FN-P9 and since it is tons cheaper and comes with an extra mag (SIG mags are not cheap)...I think that in that category...I'd consider an FN-P9 long before the P250 SIG.

I don't understand why everyone is going so crazy over this pistol.

I agree about all the hype surrounding this gun. In mind I believe it could be a failure for Sig. I would choose the Sig Pro over the P250 just based on my initial impression. I don't think people will leave a XD or a GLOCK in favor of a P250.

I'll be keeping my sigpro 2022.

The P250 needs to be DA/SA, and the price needs to drop $100.

I agree Nikon! I thought the Sig Pro definitely felt better than the P250. I would not pay $100 more for the P250 over the XD or Glock. Sig may have to ultimately get the P250 into that price point to sell them.

I agree. The Sig Pro seems like a better pistol. Really, I don't know why everyone poo poos the Sig Pro. I don't know anyone that has one and hates it. I admit, I love my older P-series SIGs but the Sig Pros are very far from junky.

My cousin bought an older model 2009 Sig Pro 9mm and I thought it was a pretty decent shooter and seemed very well made. They're a bargain on the used market if you can find one.

SIG is really crazy for attempting to enter a VERY saturated market of highly established pistols like the Glocks, XDs, FNP-9s and M&Ps. They should have worked the bugs out of their 1911s and newer P-series guns and Mosquito before trying something else new.

+1

Yessuuurr. Dump all the multitude of bling models, and get quality control of the standard models back where it used to be.

Fancy wood grips, beavertails and a Sigarms Custom Shop logo on the slide don't mean beans if my beater old Glock 22 will out-shoot these newer SIG diversions in the reliability arena. Ditto for new fangled, pretty polymer guns with changable frames.

Its a firearm not a statue...it has to FIRE...all the time or I have no use for it.
