Can't help you with that, but have you tried their website?

http://www.taurususa.com/products/findmodel.cfm

It helped me with mine.

Throw it into the nearest river.

I hate Taurus revolvers. I had bad experience....I will not repeat that mistake.

I've had a Taurus model 85 5-shot SS .38 for 20 years, been a good gun for me. Don't shoot +P's out of it a lot, however, it's not made for that.

I've got an 85 and stainless 4" .357 that has nothing short of perfect.

He asked for help identifying it, not a nasty slam on Taurus. Every manufacturer will have a lemon. Look at car dealers that have to recall hundreds of thousands of autos? Yet people still drive them.
Taurus, Colt, S&W and others will have lemons, doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad brand, just a bad piece. There are allot of Taurus owners here that have had nothing but great experiences with them.

Turns out its a model 80. The grips on it are not original and dont fit right.. I need to figure out which S&W frame is the same as this one so i can order a set of wood grips.. I still have not shot it, and I know that a taurus is no colt or smith, but it was CHEAP and its my first revolver.. It will teach me what to look for in future revolvers and help decide if I even want another revolver...

Depends on condition and whether it is nickel finish or just stainless steel.

If very good condition, maybe $150. (I said maybe)
