Just got new AK.

I just got a Romak and want to outfit it w/ new furniture. Especially a longer length stock. I don't want a folder or a collapsable. What do you suggest for stock and new hand guards? And possibly a new handgrip.
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks PonchoMike.

I know you said no collapsible stock but I recommend it and the rest of the Tapco stuff- the grip and the stock made my AK much more comfortable

The K-Var kit is an inch longer than the normal wood stock, and seems to be very good quality.

Yeah, you can get a new Kvar set in lots of colors for around $100, in original or longer lengths. I definitely don't like the tapco forend but I do like their collapsible stocks. Tapco also makes a bulgie-style stock similar to the Kvar stock but in the original shorter length. It's got a beefy metal buttplate that is making me think about switching out the collapsible stock.

Definitely go with the SAW handgrip, it's a HUGE improvement. http://www.ultimak.com/AK249.htm
