Got a new Snub-nose!
So I got a new member to my family. It’s a Smith & Wesson J-Frame Revolver Model 442. I’m really excited about this little gun. It’s not the most comfortable gun to shoot; kicks like a little mule, especially with +P loads. However, it’s one hell of a Pocket gun! Truthfully, I never carried my XD around but this guy goes with me everywhere. Check out the pics!

Love my 642. I really like yours in black though. I traded my XD9SC for the 642 and it goes with me everywhere I can take it.
If you're looking for a larger grip I would recommend the Hogue Monogrip. The only downside is that it takes up more room in your pocket. However, it does make it easier and more comfortable to shoot.

I've been seriously thinking about buying a 642 myself. I'd prefer to have 357 power but I'm not willing to pay that much more for it in airweight.

I just don't know how I feel about the airweight's, I mean the weight makes it easier for you to carry but it also makes it exceptionally hard to control the revolver. My model 36 J Frame is a bare to control, I can't imagine what it would be like with an airweight.
+1 For the Hoge Monogrip, excellent if you have large hands. |

I own a 442 and have carried it as a BUG for years. Mine is getting well worn from the Galco IWB that it rides in. Great gun. Very light. Nice, smooth design. Easy to draw.

Nice knife. I have a Cold Steel Voyager that I carry every day...very sharp!
Hard to go wrong with a Smith snubby...or any Smith revolver for that matter. We have one snubby, a Ruger SP101 in 38, that my wife has taken a likingto and carries in her car. She has also taken a liking to my Swiss P225 SIG, but I really don't want that sitting in her car all the time. I want to buy another snubby someday. Maybe an early Colt Detective Special or a Charter Bulldog in 44Spl. I really like those two snubbies. - Brickboy240
