Savage MKII guys

You ever have any problems with loads hanging in the magazine?

My stock 10rd magazine will not load Stingers and sometimes hangs the MiniMag stuff too. They are a touch long and hang in the magazine. It blows through the bulk Federal like a dream.. Maybe its just a dislike for CCI stuff, I am not sure. Is this a problem for anyone else or do I just have a bum magazine.

Also, my MKII is pre AcuTrigger, anyone here running the Savage Match/Target trigger conversion?

I have a mark2 in 17hmr,the problems with 22's can be eliminated much of the time by bending the flat bar the mag slides up on a little bit forward.Watch what happens when you try to feed the round and you will see what I'm talking about.

for the record, it's "Bueller"

I have a savage MkII. I've tried two 10 rd mags purchased new and have had major issues with them. the 5 rd-ers work fine with anything, though.

I too run the Federal balk most of the time with no issues. I ran about 20 stingers through last week and didn't have any issues.

I did notice that the first round of each mag did shoot high/right or maybe it was just me.
