We were at wally world tonight while we are out of town hunting and they have a Remington 700 ADL on clearance for $300.00 and I dont have the cash cause I bought a new stock today

Wife says if its still there in a few weeks its mind though!
Caliber was 30-06 and they had a .270 for $325.00!

I have on in .270; a great whitetail blaster. I bought it from Dick's post-season 5 years ago for about the same price. It is worth every penny. Just sad that IL requires shotguns...

Dang Ichy - you're sure it wasn't the 710? That's a heck of a price on the ADL, though it makes sense since the ADL was replaced by the SPS last year. I'd be sorely tempted if I ran across that!

Probably another Wally World dropping guns. I hope the ones here don't do that. They're the only place around with reasonably priced practice ammo.

It may be the SPS but its a 700, I promise ya. I will be back here in a few weeks to get it and pray its still there.

The bad thing is, we are not allowed to hunt anything but varmints with a rifle in this state and I just bought a 700 sps varmint in .308. I have no idea what I would do with this gun but I have an addiction and the voices in my head are screaming at me to get it. Another bad thing is, Im trying to get my credit cards paid off so I left them all at home
