NY1 Glock trigger.
Anybody running one of these? Im picking up a 19 and the pull is kinda light IMHO for carry.

I picked up one of each of the NY triggers when I attended the GLOCK armor's class. IMO they suck. They suck way bad. I htink if you shoot the GLOCK trigger a lot and get a good feeling for the take-up, pull, and reset that you will start liking it a lot. I have a hard time shooting my XD (on the VERY rare occasion that I actually shoot the thing) because I have fallen in love with my GLOCKs' trigger pulls. Just my opinion though.

The NY triggers are stiffer trigers that are ment to replicate the stiffer and longer trigger press of a revolver. The reason they are made was becasue of agencies like NYPD transitioning from revolvers to semi-auto GLOCKS, the police were used to their revovler triggers and there were concernes over that and even some incidents I believe, attributed to the easier trigger pull.
I think the NY triggers feellike garbage becasue in my opinion, they are way heavier than revolvers I have fired.

The Glock 17 I used to own (before I traded it for the XD-40 Service) came with a NY trigger. I swapped it out for a Ghost 5lb Tactical trigger and loved it. The Ghost trigger had a better let off.
I am planning on swapping the stock 5.5lb trigger in my Glock 22 for a 5lb Ghost Tactical trigger pretty soon. Its a great choice for a carry trigger for the Glock. Check out the Ghost triggers...they're not expensive and alot of guys on the Glock Talk boards use this trigger on duty and swear by it. - brickboy240

The Ghose trigger just has a better let-off. Maybe more like an XD? I dunno.
I cannot wait to swap the stock Glock 5.5 pounder in my 2nd gen. Glock 22 for a Ghost trigger. That and the grip mod and I'll have the perfect Glock. - Brickboy240

i was at a gunshow at a glock table and the guy had several glocks pinned to the table for demo puropses he had a reg glock with reg trigger pull and the 35$ 3lb trigger bar glock. i couldnt tell a diff between the two really.
i have a G19 and its pretty sweet im thinking about carrying it if i ever get around to buying a decent holster for it, i wouldnt mess with the trigger pull though. i dont care how light a trigger is im a firm belever its not going to go off unless you pull it
