My friend Oleg put a level 5 'Kazak' vest through a little test with lead core 7,62x39 and 7,62x54r ammo shot from an AK-103 and SVD at a distance of 20 yards........

outside of the vest...

outer layer...

at the containment layer....

at the plate....

he sent me one for Christmas last year...If its legal for you to own in your state, all you guys that 'want' one, this is one of the best out there......

These vests use large steel plates correct?

I don't want to know what my internal organs would look like after taking that many x39 and x54 hits like that.

well for a hard vest that is good but I dont need a hard vest very offten there is one in my trunk for special needs but normally jsut use a lllA
