Red dot scope/scope mount for .357 revolver with 4" barrel

Hi everyone - I'm a noob around here. Just sold my Glock 22 (.40 S&W) and replaced it with a XD service model in the same caliber... and I couldn't be happier. I liked my Glock, but LOVE the xd. There are so many things I prefer on the XD over the Glock that I won't even get into it. But I just couldn't be any happier with the XD.

Anyway, that's not the point of this thread! I've got a taurus titanium .357 revolver with a 4" barrel. Despite the negative opinions many people hold towards taurus guns, I actually really like this revolver. It's well balanced, light weight and as such serves it purpose as a hiking/camping protection pistol well. The only thing I don't like are the sights... It's got fixed front and rear sights and while they are acurate, target aquisition is slow. As such, I'd really like to put a small red dot sight on it, but the pistol doesn't have a built in scope mount or any predrilled holes for a mount. Does anyone have any knowledge of a product that is made for this type of revolver to mount small scopes on? I can find small red dot scopes without too much trouble, there are several made for semi-auto pistols. But they mounting system is the problem.

Any idea's? Is this somethhing a gunsmith will need to custom build or has anyone run into any aftermarket products for this sort of mount?

Thanks. I've been lurking the forums for a couple weeks and learning a ton about my new pistol. There's a lot of good people and good info on the site. I'm looking forward to becoming more active in the forum.
