I have both a Taurus and Ruger wheelgun, the Taurus Tracker, a .357 4" barrel, and the Ruger SP101, bobbed hammer, that I carry.
Both have very comparable fit and finish to the SW, and triggers were extraordinary smooth right out of the box. Never have had an issue with either one. I've not seen or shot the Taurus airweights though. I have shot the S&W airweights and didn't care for the trigger. The ones I tried out seemed "crunchy". Mine are smoother, although not airweight wheelguns of course.

I don't own one but I handled a Judge today while buying my new PT145SSP. It had the long barrel. The fit and finish was amazing for the price. It blew me away actually. The tolerances seemed very tight while manipulating it in the store. I was very impressed with the Taurus revolvers handling them.
Here is what I just bought today:

I have a Taurus 85 ultra lite that I carry as a backup. I don't know how many rounds I've put through it but I've had no problems. It is kind of a bear to shoot, but it's not a go shoot'n gun

It feels like a SA/DA. Once the gun has been racked the trigger pull is much shorter and lighter. When I pull the trigger from an uncocked condition the trigger pull is longer and has a good amount more pull weight.

I have a model 817SSUL, equivalent to a K frame, and I love how it shoots and handles. Not much of a testimonial but I have one box of 50 ball ammo and a wheel full of Corbons .38 +P through it with no problems so far. Time will tell but at this point, I would not be opposed to buying another Taurus revolver.
Thanks. I was asking because they were previously listed as DAO and I heard that for 2007 the MilPro was SA/DA.
