OK, I really don't like looking at the space gun but my buddy is really horney for one after firing my 9mm AR. He's the guy who hates 1911 because they aren't "Modern" and "Tactical" enuff but bought one only because he likes how they shoot.
One thing where he is like me is he is wondering how much metal is underneath all that plastic. They are priced really good here and have some good features like chrome-lined barrel and such but we aren't able to pull one apart to see how durable it may or may not be. Anyone have one and has stripped it? What does it look like underneath all the plastic? He also wants to know if it can be fired all day long like an AR or would it be like a Mini-14 where it's a fine utility rifle but can't take the heat of extended range times like the AR's can.
