I do not own an SKS, but have shot several over the last several decades. On another site, I have a fellow who cannot shoot, who claims 6" plus groups out of an SKS at 100 yards is really good. I know I have done better than that with rack grade guns owned by the Army. Does anyone have any legitimate targets, fired at 100 yards or better, showing 3 to 4" groups, or smaller?
Post them here so I can copy this guy.

I don't have any group shots, but at the outdoor range I go to, they have a steel plate supported by a cable on each side. The cables are attached to a steel pole stuck in the ground. My son put a bowling pin on the top of the pole and I knocked it off with my SKS using a cheap $40 scope.

The target was 200yrds. away. I will admit it took me a few shots to get the range correctly, but I did knock it down. I felt pretty good.

The only other mod my SKS (Yugo) has is a bipod.

I wanted to get an SKS but after molesting one at the store, the rear sight is crap. You can hardly use it. My Romanian WASr-10 has a better rear sight.

They are easily replaced. I have a set of Williams Firesights on mine.
