It is sweet, Sportsmans warehouse in SLC has one for 1380 or so right now. Cabelas in Lehi also has one but wants 1420, I paid higher 1300 for mine (cant remember right now), I want the desert camo one just to say I have it. Maybe tax returns. Who knows.

What I really want to do is build or modify the stock with a riser to allow me to use another EOtech, I placed the Eotech off of the CX4 and could not get crap for a cheek weld Maybe I will buy a spare stock and mod-it up with a few leftover pieces then finish it off later, who knows.

Thing that sucks about it, you need to the parts count below 10 on imported parts (5 parts need to be changed) to allow the legal use of a extension per 922 regs. The follower, mag tube are easily available, everything else is a one off. And I doubt that it would be cost effective to allow it.

Mine.

I have had mine for a little over a year and couldn’t be happier with it, it has been 100% reliable with everything from my light target reloads (#8 shot) to max DRAM 3” magnum buckshot and slug loads.

A good friend of mine has an M4. I have shot it more than a few times. In my opinion if you have the means (which I dont) I strongly advise anyone to pick one up and have fun.

The Desert Camo version is pretty hard to get right now and has a heftier price tag then the black version. Ive only seen one for sale on gun broker in the $1800 price range

The Desert Camo is impressive, id love to add it to my collection. I went the cheaper route and bought a Desert Camo Mossberg http://www1.davidsonsinc.com/consume...c=100&item_num=

The desert is hard to find, I know of 2 on gun broker, 3 on another online site, and 1 local. They range from 1560- 1880 that I have found. But its only money, and you only live once. Have fun while your here is how I see it.

I am probally going to wait till return time and if I see one I will probally grab it. But there are a few other things I want first, a Kimber Custom Covert II, (the M4 camo would pair nice with this, in function and stylish looks). A 308 Ar, a 308 700, a bigger safe, a wolf range- WOW this one is off topic on this site, and add a few bigger things to the emergecy kit (XWT 6 person tent, pick up some colder bags to go with the warmer bags we already have, ect). Its harder to bug out with a family so pack it in a trailer and head to the outdoors, and if doing so, do so in somewhat of a comfort.

aphexafx, set a goal, and go for it, however, you may want to try and make it before the elections, since afterwords, things like these may be hard to find.

Also nice mossie, I like that barrel, and like my 870s more than my 590, so I am in the process of building up another 870, it an express, will have a vang 1 shot extension (the 2 shot would not clear, mocked it up with the extension off of the 870P) still waiting on the specops folder, have a houge grip, and that sweet breacher barrel from the mossie on a 870, compact but will have the foldout wire stock for better accuracy, roubust, and well intimidating looking.

The Benelli M4 is nice but I just cannot see spending that much for a defensive shotgun. To each there own, I want a 870 HD shotgun. I have just regular old 5 shot 870 right now.

Right on man, looks like we share the same taste. Cool 870 build you got going, I to am waiting on the new specops folder. Can you tell me how you got the breacher mossberg barrel on that 870? Did you buy the barrel like that or did you silver solder the breacher on? Nice choice on a Vang comp magazine extension, IMO thats the best you can buy. If you switch out your forend, let me know and ill buy that speedfeed from you.
