Varmint rifle scopes

Just wondering what scope you'll got on your varmint rifles out there and how much you paid.

Crap. I just got a used 6-24 like that today, for $300. Oh well. And I looked everywhere for one at that price. Anyway, it's going on my F-Class rifle. I have pretty cheap, junky scopes on the rest of my stuff. Shoots minute of rabbit. I have one of the Midway $99 Whitetails on my 17, it's OK.

I JUST now mounted up a Mueller 8.5-25x44 tactical on a dednutz one piece base and rings. I plan on shooting her this weekend.

The optics are as good as any I personnaly have ever owned. We'll see how she shoots and zeros.

$159.00 through SG.

+1 on the Mueller scopes. I own two of them and highly recommend them.

I also bought one for my Savage 93r17 and it will not be the last one I will own. Great scopes!

What calliber is your F Class rifle and what range are you shooting? At 200 yds the 6-24 set at 24x the bullet holes are clearly visible on the 36X heat mirage becomes a big issue But it is great earlier in the day or on overcast days. Most of the competitions I shoot at are 200yds at reduced sized varmit targets, the center scoring ring is 1" and the bullseye is 1/8". Currently I'm shooting a SAKO 75 in 22-250 in the F Class and a Remington 700 in .223 in stock.
