im pretty sure this is stupid, but not illegal, as far as i have always understood it, one round for each pull of the trigger... simple as that.. he shot one round with each pull of the trigger, i wouldnt do it IN FRONT of an ATF agent, but i wouldnt consider it illegal.

Unless you use a non ATF approved device...its that simple. All trigger devices MUST be approved by the ATF, period, no exceptions/no excuses. Don't believe me?? Invite an ATF agent to go shooting with you and show him a 'trigger contraption' and see what will transpire....

Same as with pistols with butt stocks. I have a P08 Artillery Luger with the butt stock/holster, perfectly legal since its C&R- go buy a new glock and attach the stock they make for them to it and see what happens......

Buy a semi auto AR15 and also have a full auto trigger group 'just laying around', its still a machine gun in the laws eyes.....been there, done that with a Port Said semi I built....

But, don't take my word for it-clarify the laws how you wish, then a judge will give the real meaning, along with a fine, gun confiscation, and a possible jail term to go with that felony on a federal level.
