Tasco Target/Varmint series

Sorry for another thread but has anyone had any good experiences with these? It's I think $80 at Dick's and $100 at Cabelas for the 6-24x 40AO. Thanks. Also what ring height to we need if we use the stock scope bases that savage provides??

They are JUNK avoid them and all their bargain basin ilk. Mueller is probably the best of the cheaper scopes but even they are hit and miss.

Well I did avoid them, I went with a Simmons WhiteTail Classic that goes for around $220 on sale at Midway for $99. It's only for a plinker so I'm happy.

I've got one of those on a 17, they're not bad scopes.
