Pink/Pearl Gun for Wife?

OK, the wife is SLOWLY coming around on gun issues. The first gun I brought home I thought I'd face a divorce!

She's into looks and saw a small pink gripped 22 derringer at a pawn shop, not sure what make/model. She liked it, but the pawn shop actually told her it was crap! Must REALLY be bad for the pawn to pass up a sale! Either that or he was trying to upsell.

Any leads on a small, "cute", first gun for an anti-gunner?

I'm thinking a semi will be too complicated for her to learn how to operate properly . A revolver or derringer might be better to start her with.
