Looking for a new scope

I'm looking for a new scope for my muzzle loader. I don't want to spend a lot (not more than $125)

I was looking at some NcStar scopes and they seem nice, anyone have any experience with them?

any other suggestions - please speak up

I'd get a Pentax from cameralandny.com. It's 10 times whatever a NcStar is.

Which muzzleloader did you get? I know Nikon makes a pretty nice scope for muzzle loaders that has a BDC calibrated for muzzzleloader ranges.

Don't skimp on optics, trust me you'll regret it....

Burris Fullfield II for around $175.00

Mueller Optics - you can get a nice variable for around or under $150.00

Before you think cheap, think about how optics are made. The cheaper ones are cheap for a reason. Most name brand scope manufactures make designated muzzleloaders and shotguns scopes for a reason. That reason being that those 2 class of guns will beat the living snot out of a scope in very short order through recoil. I have a newer inline that my wife bought for me as a package deal several years ago and I have never been able to get it to group. The reason I suspect is the cheap scope that came on it is not holding zero. Spend some money and get a good scope and it will be peace of mind.

I was in the same boat a week ago. I got the Mueller Optics 8.5-25 x44 Tactical for my new rifle. I paid $159.00 through SG.

I'll post a review as soon as I get to shoot it, Saturday.
