Looks about right for what most of us put on HD shotties too. The one thing I had never given thought to was an over sized safety lever. I wonder what's out there for the Mossy 500.

Sights? It's a scattergun people. I've never even used the bead sights on my shotguns and I'm an avid hunter. Just point and shoot.

I somewhat see where you are coming from but what if? The gun is completely what if, why shouldnt you have sights for what if?

Just a question, why do you have a hi-viz spark on your gun if you have no way to use it?

I still like a bead-sight, plain vanilla fighting shotgun with maybe a side-saddle on thw stock- I don't want anything cluttering up the receiver or sight picture. Heaven only knows how we got along with such a obsolete instrument for so many years.

You have convinced me of one thing, though. I am gonna have to go into the accessory business.

I don't hunt or shoot skeet with it. It has only 2 purposes, blasting and stopping the BG. The see-thru rings allow me to do both.

Already out there https://www.vangcomp.com/gun_accessories.html

as for suitable shotguns

Modified the M590 for zombies

Still waiting on the EOtech for the Benelli, and waiting on the barrel for my other 870, it has the breacher end barrel like the mossie has above, but on the 870 platform (better IMHO) and a knoxx breahcers grip. Still have the CX4 storm i would prefure to use, if it ever came down to having to take a shot in the house.
