looking for some info - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

So I found out that my commission check at work this month is going to to be a couple hundred $$$ more than usual and when I was at the gun shop last week there was something that caught my eye. it was an Astra A-75 in 9mm.

Characteristics:
Caliber: 9 mm Countered
Capacity of the charger: 8 cartridges
Weight: 880 grams
Length: 166 mm
Height: 120 mm
Length the standard(cannon): 89 mm

The cost is $300 and change out the door and it comes with case manual and one mag.
Does anyone out there have one of these and if you do what do you think. I have already put some money down on it to hold it until I get the check, so it's mine already but I won't be able to shoot it for a couple of weeks. any info you could provide me to hold me over would be great.

i was looking at those at the gun store and it was 400 and the bersa i also liked was 300 and the guy recomended the bersa. he said its hard to find parts for the other one and he said its a reliable gun just that it wasnt common enough
but overall he said they are very good guns and are similar to sig if the one i was looking at was looking at was 300 i would have gotten that one but since it was 100 more then the bersa i decided not to get it
