need HELP! bore patch stuck in barrel!!

was cleaning my AR pistol and i got a cable puller with a patch stuck.

i've sprayed lots of lube in the barrel but nothing.

again i was using a cable puller as opposed to a rod puller, so backing it out isn't working.

ideas??

TIA!

If it's the paper kind of patch you can probably get a rod down in there and push it around a bit until it starts to break down. They will all start to degrade after a little bit of solvent and movement. If it's the cut up T shirt style you're going to have to get a rod and push it out.

Cable puller as in a bore snake? If so, ive done that, you gotta just pull it as hard has you can. Dont reverse, it will bind up the brush and scratch your barrel, keep going in the right direction

Push using a dowel or cleaning rod from the opposite end. You may have to use some firm strikes on something solid.

but i cant get a rod in from the opposite end because the cable is stuck too and there isnt much room to stick anything in there.

Yea keep going in one direction, it will come out!! Just wrap that cord part around your hand and make a fist with it and PUUULLLLL... Be sure not to reverse, it will scratch the inside of your barrel just like a bore brush would if you dont make full strokes..
