I have a P226 bi-tone but cant find info on it. It is a bi-tone with black top instead of white top. Black top/slide is stainless steel
while frame is regular stainless steel. Is it a special edition???

I haven't seen a zebra 226, mine is all black stainless.

Does the serial on the frame match the slide?

Slide doesn't have serial number, just Sig Sauer P226 Stainless and something in USA stuffs. It's stainless black. I can't find a model anywhere even on Sig site.

Someone could have had the slide refinsihed.
Or it could have been the February 2004 GOTM(Gun of the month).That was a reverse two tone 226

Seller called it a Reverse 2 tone. What's Feb 2004 GOTM??? special edition. He said only a few was made.

Just sounds like a simple reverse two tone. I have a Sig Mosquito that has this finish

Sig used to have a gun of the month(GOTM) program,I am not sure of all the various models or how long it ran for but you can find more info on Sigforum.com
