Curio & Relics FFL

I just sent off for it! I can't wait to get it back! Where do you guys buy from besides AIMsurplus? I have already picked out 4 rifles from their site. Won't be able to get them right away but nice to dream.

On my List So Far:

Enfield in .308
Schmidt & Rubin K31
91/30 Mosin Nagant Hex Receiver and Laminated Stock
Yugo SKS
Walther P-38

Is AimSurplus's Handpick fee worth it?

C&R Ordering

I've had good luck so far placing orders on various websites for C&R firearms.
Centerfire Systems centerfiresystems.com - 1948 Mosin-Nagant M44 super nice laminated stock for 79.99 - not counter-bored

IO Inc ioinc.us (formerly Interordnance) - They shipped me a 1943 dated M44 even with no hand pick fee, paid 63.95 . Let me know if I'm right but I think I've noticed other places charging up to 499.99 for the 1943 dated ones. It is counter-bored but in really nice condition. From what I hear the 1944-48 ones are really easy to find but the 1943 dated ones are part of a batch of 50,000 they were testing in real battle.
Other places I have ordered from include J&G jgsales.com and R-guns rguns.net

I have the application for my 03 FFL (C&R), I just need the fee and I'll be sending it in!

Have you guys w/ the C&R found that most (if not all) of the surplus stores give you a discount? I've been wondering about that: Does the C&R entitle you to a discount?

I already have a 1942 Mosin-Nagant 91/30 (with matching s/n's and an East German mark) which will be kept for historic significance. But I do want to get another one and modify it a bit. I'm not so worried about matching s/n's or which arsenal it came from, etc.

The best price for another 91/30 that I've seen is about $70....

J&G Sales in Prescott Arizona is where I have been getting my C&R stuff. I got a Nagant Revolver from them for 89 bucks a few months ago. Pick up a copy of Shotgun News. They have a ton of companies advertising C&R eligible firearms.

I have had my C&R for at least 2 years now. I have yet to buy a firearm with it because I just keep buying other guns. I got the Lic with intent to collect of course but later learned about discounts. I now use mine mostly at brownells, and just recently got on midways dealer program. I also know that Once I pop the fun wont stop, its downhill after the first C&R gun. Not every place will give you discounts with a lic. Some do some dont. just depends on them. When you get your license, make a bunch of copies and send them out to all the places you think you may ever shop, youll be set for the first 3 years.

Ive bought everything but guns from these below and have had great service
AIM surplus
Centerfire Systems
J&G sales
