Decided i wanted a new shotgun, my pump wasnt so nice to me at this weekends 3 gun. this is one i really like the look of. any one have any opinions on it?

The FN is nothing more than a super X 2 rebadged as FN with a ghost ring sight and extended magazine. It was designed by the same guy that designed the Browning Gold, so it should be more than good enough for 3 gun matches plus it is a gas operated action so it will recoil less than the Benelli but might give up a little in operating speed.

You may find a short vent-rib much quicker for 3 gun. At least for me it is since I grew up hunting with a shotgun. I have rifle sights on mine because I hurl slugs in it too, but it also has screw in chokes. Just something to consider.

The majority owner of our company just bought one of these a few months ago. No real feedback yet. He does like the auto loading and 9-shot capacity though. I think he paid around $1000.

A few local guys use an FN in 3 gun.

One of them travels around the country for matches so I know he is happy with it.

He also works at the gun store where I bought my FN pump.

I was offered the non ghost ring auto for $700+ I think.

I don't see how someone could shoot any faster then this one guy.

It's like one continuous string across the targets.

for some reason my winchester dosent shoot slugs for damn. horrible pattern

They seem to be very nice shotguns.

We have some FN Shotgun owners at the FN Forum, if ya wanna come ask them...
