Walther P99 & Laser
I saw a few pics of the Walther P22's and P99's on gubroker that had the "factory made laser"
I was at the gunstore today and they had about 12 P99's and P22's together and I asked the owner if they had the laser and he said "Nope"... How would you go about getting one with a laser? I'd of figured that out of the # of them he had, sureley one of them would have had it... |

You ask your gun store owner to order you one. That's his job.
OR You go online to to the Walther site and order one. http://www.waltheramerica.com/webapp...43341&training= (You can't order the whole package from there, but you can order the laser and slap it on one of the guns from your local gun store.) OR You search Gunbroker or Guns America to find one to order. OR......get the idea?

I get the idea.
I hate having him order stuff though. His guns are priced very well, so I go there for other stuff since I bought a gun from him... But when I was getting my XD, I asked if he could order a XD9 Bi Tone with the gear because all he had was a 2005 bi tone with no gear and 3 mags for $475 and the all black's with the gear were $450... For him to order a Bi Tone with the gear, he said "Well, I dont know how much it'll all be to buy it and ship it here and you have to put down a deposite for it, but it could range from $500-$550" So I said, No thanks, Ill take the black... Should it cost out the ass to have them order it, or was he just wanting a little more of my money than he needed? |

Supply and demand drive those decisions and price points. If he can get that for a gun, I don't hold it against him. If I think he is too high, I shop somewhere else.
If it is not in the case and you don't have access to other shops, how else do you expect to get what you want?

There's about 3 or 4 other shops near me, this guy happens to be 5 minutes down the road and has good prices on his guns and ammo, just he likes to crank up prices 1/4 of the guns price to order some small laser part for it..
Walther doesnt make packages with the laser already with the gun, like XD's and the gear? |

I have seen Walthers in my local shops with the lasers attached as part of a packaged price.
The bottom line is that if you want a Walther and are hot and bothered to have the Walther laser for it, the laser is a +/-$100 part that you can buy seperately from multiple sources. What's the big deal of it being in a gun/laser package or not. Want a Walther? Find a good price and buy it. Didn't come with the laser? Find a good price on the laser and slip it on the gun. Why is it any harder than that? What am I missing?

Had to buy my laser sight separate. Cost over 250 at the time but it was the ONLY place I could find with them. Walther did not have the laser sights I wanted. But she looks slick with that thing on her. Just need to get a bore sight and zero the thing.
