5.56 shot from a 7.62 AK..I have done it before, but the brass didn't look like this-and mine ejected it....

I've got a few handgun casings like that from Newb (and experienced) shooters trying to put .40 into a .45 (it's almost always the 1911 Kimbers too . . .).
"The guns jammed."
"Lemme see here *drops mag, locks slide back* . . . what ammo can did you load this magazine out of?"
*points to .40 can*
"There's your problem, next time load from the can that has a sign matching the sign on the gun's table"

I always hang onto those shells and put them into the "Whoops" part of my cartridge/shell collection.

Had someone load a .40 into a 9 one time too . . . and another one stick an HK USP .40 mag into a G17 . . . and another one loaded the rounds into a magazine backwards.

You RO enough with new shooters and you'll definitely see some interesting "This won't work," situations.

Magazine-wise, yeh, this guy did it. He thought something was wrong when "the bullet won't go into the gun."
