Mosin Nagant M44 bolt

Just got my Mosin M44 bolt back from having it turned down (sporter). Pics do not do it justice at all. So smooth and easy. I'll take some action pics tomorrow at the range.

So what sort of optics are you planning on? And what method of mounting are you going to use?

I really havent decided yet. Im really a newb when it comes to optics. as far as the mount ill probably go with the ATI setup since it seems to clear the action really well. scope? who knows, i wont be able to break the bank thats for sure. if the ati kit doesnt work i can always just one off something

I have seen a couple of dissatisfied ATI customers but I've also seen a lot of really nice setups and to be honest there is not a whole lot of options for the M44 Nagant

Sure there is. Darrel's scout mount, S&K scout mounts, PU/PE/PEM sniper rails and mounts, Faljen stocks, Finnish stocks, Boyds stocks......Custom stocks and scope mounts you can find at the National shows......theres more outhere than you think.
I like this stock the most out of all that I have tried, so far-still waiting on 2 stock 'samples'.....
