The FNP.........45! (yes...45ACP)

A guy at FN said these will be for sale in October.

http://www.fnhusa.com/products/firea...01&mid=FNM0061

14rds, stainless slide w/Melonite finish, changeable backstraps, 3 magazines, lifetime warranty and maybe 10% increase in price over it's 9mm/40SW cousins.

Man...the decisions don't get any easier...do they? I kinda think it was easier when we did not have so many choices.

You S*B!!! Why did you have to show me that? Just when I thought I had satisfied the monster. That is a nice looking shooter though.

I know the XD 45 is out there and the M&P 45, but many of us weened on 1911s and Hi-Powers find something comforting in an exposed hammer on our pistols.

I have deviated with my XD, but the FNP really rings my bell for some reason. One in 45 (if the grip is not too chunky) might be worth waiting till October to add to my colection.

I just wish these gunmakers would get a clue and bring out the 45 FIRST...they know darned well this is really what we want.

I like it.....my only preference with hammered guns is that they offer a SAO variant (my 1911 fetish coming out). The whole first shot/follow-up shots being different always felt a little wacky to me.

I was all ready to buy another gun... Till I hear of the first DA shot... That turns me off every time. I've been spoiled by my XD...

Well, it keeps getting pushed back - so, it remains to be seen exactly when it comes out. But many FN fanatics are waiting on this one
