Savage 340D
I have a Savage 340D in .222 that I can't find any information on.
Like where can I get extra mags/are the mags compatible with other rilfes... pretty much any information I can get.

Truthfully painfully ugly but like most Savage rifles they are known for their accuracy. Gun parts corp/Numrich arms will probably have a Magazine. The .222 was the mainstay of the bench rest crowd in the 60's-80's and is still popular in my area. It is easy to reload, efficient and easy on barrels.

The mags are a little expensive.. I am going to restain it probably next week... all black... just to see if I can do it.

Yeah I can't really complain..
It was a gift. I am still concerned with getting a rifle in .308 though.. I do want to make this one as appealing as possible. Maybe a tacticool bipod... I already have a weaver scope. stained black.. I know nothing about .222... ballistics... accuracy... range... etc etc..
