Not bad.. this is last weeks video that apparently is part 1 of the one you posted... I'd watch this one first.
http://www.usconcealedcarry.com/public/880.cfm

"Flashlights attract bullets"

Which is why you use a flashlight - not a rail mounted light.

Unrelated to flashlights - but this is also a good video on that page:

Good video! I personally prefer using a weapon mounted light AND a flash light. Use the flashlight while searching so you can manipulate it away from your body. IF and once you have found and secured a threat (such as a home intruder) you have the option to drop the flashlight and use the weapon light to free a hand up for phone use or what ever you need like placing restraints on someone. Also having the extra weight of the light on the weapon will reduce the muzzle flip just a little. I need all of the help I can get in that department.

Keep in mind that I am not military or LE so to me this is more of a common sense thought process. If someone out there could point out the flaws in such a situation I would like to hear it.

Thank you (and mutilator) for those videos...very informative.

On another note, there is another video on this page (scroll down) with Senator Biden on Gun Control. I'm amazed how he judges and makes fun of the person posing the 2nd Ammendment question....what an ignorant and misinformed "gentleman". I wonder how he would feel if he were personally affected by a mugging or home invasion? Silly politicians....guns are for responsible, law-abiding citizens

I'm just an average CCW guy--no claims to expertise/experience whatsover--but the second part of the video got into stuff that seemed to me to involve too much fine motor skill.

Ditto. Of course maybe this is probably geared more for SWAT team type guys but still... ...all that juggling the gun around seems like a bad idea with no real benefit that I can see.

The video makes a good case for a separate light thought.

Yeah, I practice rolling out to the left and right--no need to switch hands for that.

The "neck index" is cool, though, if like me you're too cheap/poor to have night sights on your pistols. I can see the sense in going back and forth between that and "FBI."
