Ruger 10/22 mags; where to look

Does anyone have any good sited to find steel lipped 10/22 mags? I would also like to find a "drum" type mag, but have only found one made be ProMag and I don't want that. Any links and help would be appreciated, thanks.

Go to rimfirecentral.com and they have tons of information on this topic. I think just about everyone over there will recommend Tactical Innovation magazines.

CDNN investments had a sale last month 7.99 (6.99 if you bought 10) for 30 round eagle mags. IMO they are just as reliable as the steel lips made by butler creek. Only down side is the BC crank loader doesn't work with them

Ditto on the promag 10/22 mag. I have one and it sucks... on the other hand my promag 20 round XD9 mag is flawless... go figure. Stay away from ramline too.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I was wondering if that Bulter speed loader worked good. May have to give it a try.

The Butler Creek Speed loader works
great. I've had one for over ten years.

Except me! I finally tossed mine in the trash. Would not work for crap! And yes, I sent them back but the replacements would not even strip a cartridge from the mag. Left a very deep gouge in the top of the cartridge though.

Have you called your local gun store and asked if they carry them, or know of a good online source for them?

My local store actually carries the 10-round mags for my Savage Mark II....

A quick Google search for "10/22 magazines" came up w/ these:

http://www.mwgco.com/Merchant2/merch...1022-MAGAZINES

http://www.eabco.com/102202.html

http://www.jgsales.com/index.php/mag...th/190_199?SID

http://www.jocoemprise.com/rifles/ruger/1022.html

some might be plastic or high capacity, but if you look on those pages, there may be links to other options.
