That guy may be an "expert" but those wolves are STILL wild animals. One day they'll turn on him. you just shouldn't fcuk w/ mother nature and the "natural" way of things.... but that's just my 2¢.

Maybe, but he knows that's a possibility.

Wolves are very much pack animals and they will protect their family. If he's seen as part of the family, he's probably not going to get killed. I'm surprised he's not been hurt though. Wolves can play rough.

That's my thinking as well. They will "test" him to see if he is still the 'alpha male' and then they will see what he's made of. I think it would turn out bad.

Where's that thread about the guy being attacked by the three dogs, and the guy shooting (or not???) one before the cops arrived. THAT'S what I see happening eventually. Who's going to be there to help him?

I'm on the boat. Even if he established himself as the alpha dog when the wolves were just pups, they can still snap.

Despite being pack animals, there's still the natural "pecking order" and a dominant alpha pair of wolves leading their pack. Plus, animals like that will "test" the alphas for dominance occasionally. Alphas could also "test" him on his submissiveness without warning. I'm no wolf expert, but I think he'd get his a$$ handed to him in that battle.

I'm not 100% he IS the alpha male. He may have just been "holding his own" in the pack. No one will be there to help him. You really think the camera guy is going to jump into a pack of wolves?

don't get me wrong: it would be waaay cool to "hang out" with a wolf pack and be one of them for a while. But I wouldn't turn my back on them for one second, nor would I be right next to their kill while they're eating it ("food aggression" anyone?), or laying down w/ my eyes closed....
