Alot of people say that...I'm suprised you haven't shot/seen one since you're in the military. RAV 02 has been 'around' for a couple of years in our military....And its also not a 'real' SIG, its a SIG USA product...made for civilians only....its nothing really new, just modifications on an existing set up.

Robinson Armament Co. is a firearm manufacturing company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Some of Robinson Armament's better known products include the Stoner 63 derived M96 Carbine, and the Kalashnikov based VEPR series of weapons which are imported from Russia.
In recent years Robinson Armament has shifted focus toward military small arms development. Their RAV-02 Carbine successfully defeated entries from Knight's Armament Company and Lewis Machine and Tool in the SOCOM SPR-V trials. This was followed by the advanced XCR Modular Weapon System which was a competitor in the SOCOM S.C.A.R. trials.
The XCR Modular Weapon System has proven to be their most popular, internally designed carbine thus far. It has sold considerably well among civilians, and has enjoyed some success with foreign military units.

Probably very well from what I've been seeing about it.

I've met, Alex Robinson quite a few times and played with some of his creations. Great guy and brilliant as far as I'm concerned....Right up there with 'Father' Kalashnikov, Eugene Stoner, John Browning, D. Williams, and Mark Krebs
