Famous Maker???
Has anyone ever heard of the brand Famous Maker? Do they make good stuff? I have a Browning hard case that retails for around $180 - A guy I know that owns a gun store said he would trade me the case for a new Famous Maker dot sight. It runs off batteries and it looks similar to an EOTech - I am not sure the model number or name, just that it reminded me of a small EOTech - with the hood surrounding the glass, ran off batteries, and was the brand famous Maker.
Thanks in advance. |

You know I had forgotten all about that bottle sitting in my cabinet. Gonna have to go pour a little over some ice...Become an ambassador and you can get your name on a barrel, Buy from that barrel and get bottles printed with your barrel's name Got some rare breed too, but it's not open (yet)

I bought one of those cheap famous maker sights from Aimsurplus and it has held up well while on my AK. Seriously, how hard can it be to make a red dot? It's not rocket science. It's 2 pieces of glass and a laser pointer.
Hell I forgot to tighten the side mount scope rail on my AK that the red dot was on and shot it and the red dot and mount went flying and hit the ground. Red dot still worked fine, and didn't break or scratch the glass. When it comes to somethign liek that, I'm not going to spend, 20x as much for a name brand piece. |
