I saw those in the mossy catalog while with the fiance at the OB/GYN (yes a gun mag in the girly doc's waiting room!) What did it cost you? if I can ask. Thats my next shotty purchase. was gonna get a new 500 + furniture, but I'm just going with that.

Not mine, just wanted to get an opinion on the desert camo finish. I think i like the basic black. I'm gonna add the "knoxx stocks" telescoping stock to mine. Supposed to drastically reduce recoil.

I think the finish would be cool if I had a real use for a desert camo shotty.

Stick with the black Nikon. Just my .02 cents

I really like it. I would probably stick with all black, cause I'm cheap.

Fyi
This is listed on the Mossy site in the "JIC" or "Just in Case" 500 Shotty section.
They also have a Crusier (blue) and Marine (nickel) model with small survial kits in the tube. This is very interesting and too bad a top folder and full 7 or 9 round mag wasn't included on the JIC models. This is a very good idea for a shotgun kit and I give it 2 thumbs up. |
