Gun value - High Standard Dbl. 9 .22

Howdy everyone. My dad has a High Standard Double 9 10 shot .22 revolver. I have looked in every gun value book I can find to figure out its value. The only thing ever listed is a 9 shot. He told me it was rare, but I figured I could at least find something on it.

Anybody have any clues? Thanks.

Per the most recent version of the Blue Book (28th edition), there is no 10-round revolver listed for the Double 9 from what I can tell. Are you sure it is ten rounds? I am quite certain that they used a standard cylinder configuration on all of the .22 revolvers.

I am 100% positive it is 10 rounds. My dad bought it brand new and, while I haven't asked him, I very seriously doubt that he replaced the cylinder with a larger one. That isn't him.

Interesting. If that is the case, give the folks at the Blue Book a call and ask them directly. If it is that rare, perhaps it is worth more than the $225 9-round version.
