I haven't heard much about them, just one or two people who had them, both were pleased with them.

I have a CPX and have been pleased with it. It has ate everything I have ran through it. Had a couple failures to fire using reloads with CCI primers. Other than that it has functioned very well. Click on the forum link off the Skyy web site.

My dad has one, well Skyy has it right now, the hammer broke, and they were supposed to fix it with 24 hour turn around, that was as of 6/4/07, they sent the over night Fed Ex postage and the local gun shop sent it out that day, still no word on it. They did mention that there is a new hammer design, and they will be putting that in it. But it only had 300 or 350 rounds threw it. Other wise it is ok, except the safety will either engages itself or I hit it when firing, it’s right in the way. So far it hasn’t proven to me that I should trust my life with it, and my dad is also having that felling now. So he is shopping around, and just going to keep this one as a pinker/safe toy.

I heard the guy who started Skyy came from Keltec and is using a lot of the non patented technology to make a better gun at a better price. Just hear-say at this point. Anyone else hear anything good or bad?

My thoughts exactly... I'd buy one for the price, and keep it in the car if I wasn't crazy about it... I actually returned a PF9 due to reliability issues -- could never get through one mag without an FTE. New extractor, new barrel, two weeks later, same s%!t... Maybe it will be better... I'll try one for a goof...

You might want to go to the Skyy forums. One of the mods over there is a former member here, good 'ol Captain Ray. You might describe him as a "bit" opinionated. (He was banned from here a couple of times).

He has at least one and perhaps more IIRC.
