Problem Keltec P3AT .380
Alright, lets get to it. When I am shooting this gun sometimes it will let me pull the trigger all the way back the hammer will go back all the way but will not get to the point where it flips forward and fires, sometimes it will do that and there will be a split second delay and it will fire. It never does it on the first round because I rack it and it does not do it when the gun is empty I can cycle it a million times with an empty chamber with nothing in the pipe and it will work flawlessly every time only does it in the middle of firing a magazine full when it is racking itself.
Also I have fired Hornady,Blazer, and Independence rounds even mixed them up in one mag but it does not seem to be a particular ammo. I know if I send it to Kel-tec the will rack it on an empty chamber and think I'm crazy. |

With the information you've provided, I'm going to take a wild guess...
Ok, Here goes... My guess is the slide isn't going forward enough most likely due to the extractor sitting ON the rim of the case instead of AROUND it. If you cycle the gun by hand do the rounds eject properly?

Yes, from what I can tell. Yesterday I fluffed and buffed some and shot about 30 rounds off different types of ammo and no malfunction. Whick still doesn't make me feel good about it.

You know I lube the slide with Militec-1 after cleaning, but this last time before I shot those 30 rounds yesterday I sprayed the sides of the gun you know the crack where the slide is with some Rem Oil spray it was lubed more than normal maybe it was a little dry....
