Steyrs are very good pistols. try www.steyrclub.com
You can get the M9A1 or M40A1 for $350 through CDNN. They are definately worth the money. |

I have held and played with a few, but have no range time with them. They seem VERY well made and I loved the way it felt in the hand.
CDNN in Abilene, TX sells these for well under 400 bucks...I am very tempted to get one someday. I liked it better than the Glock 17. Do a web search...you'll find alot of folks really like these pistols. - brickboy240

Greetings,
I shot my friend's one and I was quite impressed. The triangular sights are great and the low profile slide makes the recoil quite comfortable. My friend put over 2000 rounds and never got any malfunction. Thank you |

I owned the 1st Gen model M40 and (medium) an S40 (small). I had to sell the M40 because I was helping a sick ex-girlfriend. They are really good firearms. They are reliable and have good accuracy. I hope to pick up one of the gen. 2 models soon. They are also a nice and modern looking gun to my eye.
My Steyr M40 has been my main carry gun after selling my XD, also for the same reason as above. The grip angle is a little greater than most guns, not as much as a glock though. I prefer the more traditional 1911 like grips angles, but it easier to adjust the the Steyr angle than glock's extreme angle for me. |
