Squeeze the trigger.........don't yank it. I can see in your video that you either anticipate the recoil or the shot.....your body moves alot when you shoot...

As long as the mount is stable, you can zero it for what ever you want....just remember form doesn't have to follow function and alot of folks 'judge' by what looks 'kewl'...if it works and its comfortable for you, them the set up is fine....

An offset mount should work. It's the height of the scope and absence of a good cheek weld that might cause a problem.

I think I'd try this route instead

New complete upper receiver

Buy a new upper and transfer the rest of the stuff over and away you go.

Use the carry handle upper for your next build.

well i just saw this pics on another website and the set up was from a sniper rifle in vietnam i think its called model 655 of colt i guess..

Sure it will work, check my set up on my muzzle loader with the see through scope rings. Not much different that what you have there. This is dead nutz at 50 - 100 yards.
