So I got some vacation pay and won $200 in traveler's checks a last week and thought I would buy myself a vertical grip and rail for my AR-15.

I ended up leaving the police supply store with those two items and a brand new Mossberg 590DA1 (Same as the 590A1 but with a double action trigger).

For those not familiar with the 590A1 series, it had a heavier duty barrel than the regular 590 and a metal trigger gaurd where as the 590's is just plastic.

Can't wait to play with it, get a good sling for it, and a side thingy for more shotgun shells.

So - what's with the DA trigger? Is it long like a revolver? Does it have second-strike capability like a Walther P99?

its long like a revolver's, but not as long as a revolver. or maybe it could be described as, "as long as a good revolver."

Do they really have it in a 20ga? I didn't see one on the website. Looking for something my wife could handle too if needed.

They don't have it in 20 gauge I think. I have a Mossberg Catalog though and later today, I see what they have in 20 gauge and let you know.
