My biggest gun-regret is getting rid of my 9 1/2" bbl Super Single Six Convertable .22lr/.22WMR. It was kind of hard to carry, but it shot like a rifle.

My first pistol was a blued 3 screw flat loading gate SS. My dad bought it for me used in about 1969. It was made in the mid 50's. Couldn't tell you how many thousands of rounds are through it. I sent it to Ruger for re blueing and an overhaul. It's now retired in the safe. Replaced it with an identical 3 screw, but with the later loading gate. the 5 1/2 inch barrel seems to be the most popular.
