Just another heads-up from Aim Surplus (and no, I don't work for them or have a financial interest in the company
Mauser K98's described as "very good +" for $209 plus shipping. If you've kicked around the idea of picking up an 8mm, this looks like a great time to do it: http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/New_Rifles_.html

Yep...200 bucks for a German 98k Russkie capture piece in that condition is pretty damn good.
I have three 8mm Mausers and love them. Great shooters and tough and accurate as well. Everyone should own at least one 98 Mauser variant. These won't be around for long at 200 bucks apiece...if you ever wanted a good WWII souvenir...I'd go for it. I'd buy the Russkie capture before the Yugo M48s. Do they have any Czech made VZ-24? That is another very good 98 Mauser variant. I love mine. - Brickboy240

good price but you have to know they are a bunch of parts guns.when the russians refurb them they didn't try to get all the orginal parts together.
no biggie as long as the head space is good. **Cleaning rod, sight hood, and locking screws not included** I would get one but just bought a CZ82 and 2 91/30's(ex dragoons) cash flow is zero for a while. pete

I'll bet that 308 Indian version of the British Jungle Carbine that AIM's selling gives a whole new meaning to the word "heavy recoil." They're bad enough in 303 British caliber...in 308 Winny...I bet its a harder kicker than the M44 Mosin or the M95 Steyrs they're selling.
Anyone wanting to punish their shoulders ought to snap up one of those and let us know how many rounds it took to turn their shoulder blue. No thank you. I have two M44s and an M95 Steyr and they're bad enough! - Brickboy240
