Exclamation VA shooters Weapon purchased...

"Cho Seung-Hui walked into a Virginia gun shop five weeks ago, put down a credit card and walked out with a Glock 19 handgun and a box of ammunition. He paid $571 (€421)."

I am sure The Anit-Guns will spin this into there Favor supporting there Idea that there needs to be Strictor gun control.. Though in my opinon it just reinforces the Idea the That they connot legislate our saftey. Rather it is the resposibility of us individually to protect ourselves and that is what they would like to restrict.

"Because he killed and injured so many victims in a short span of time, some people speculated that Cho used high-capacity magazines containing as many as 33 rounds in each clip."

Is two hours really a short span of time, how many times can you reload a mag in 15mins? Idiocrocy!!!

I have not found anything to confirm that he used high capacity magazines.. but I would like to say in the 2 hours he was on the loose he could have reloaded multiple times, even with a 10 rnd mag I believe he would be able to inflict the same damage. As well after the Brady Bill went into affect. I went out and bought a high capacity Glock 22, The only thing the Brady bill did was inflate the price.

Here is were I found the article

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/...ng-Weapons.php

This whole thing is making me sick..

He got more people with his semiautomatic weapons than the Columbine kids got with their fully automatic weapons. This should say a lot to people about exactly how little the nature of one's weapon effects the body count.

Well look at what a Brady jackass is saying.

Quote:
Under the federal assault-weapons ban enacted in 1994, magazines were limited to 10 rounds. But that ban was allowed to expire in 2004.
"The key thing that we have seen in all of these school shootings is easy access to high firepower weapons," said Daniel Vice, an attorney with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. "These killings can't be done with baseball bats and knives."
Really nobody has ever been killed by a knife or baseball bat? I know there's never been a killing like the ones yesterday with a bat or knife.

But like AZXD40 said he could have easily done this with 2 or 3 10 round mags. You don't need one high capacity magazine to do what this guy did, 2 or 3 do just the same damage. It only takes second to reload, even for a amateur shooter.

When did they classify a 9mm or a Walther p-22 as high power???????

When some psycho jacka$$ used them to kill 33 people, and to play it up for the gun ignorant to push their own anti-gun agenda.

When someone noticed that the Browning High power was 9mm.
Seriously, he could have done this just as easily with a Revolver and a handfull of speedloaders.

I saw some idiot anti-gunner "expert" say on Inside Edition or one of those rag shows...

"Buying a gun in Virginia is as easy as buying a gallon of milk."

I don't remember filling out paperwork and having a background check done last time I picked up some 2%!

And correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't VA have a 1 gun per month law as well?

This slanted misinformation being aired is aggravating and disgusting!

I shoot at a couple of the DNR ranges here and they have REALLY strict range marshalls. You are not allowed to load up mags or anything unless the range is in live fire mode. Live fire last for 12 minutes, then they break, check all weapons for open breech, then you can change targets etc. Some nimrod is always fooling about or visiting down range and you have to wait, but the clock keeps ticking etc. So why the explanation?

It is the reason I have 100 rounds worth of 16 and 10 round mags for my 9sc. If I didn't, I would spend most of the time loading cartriges instead of target practicing.

I don't know, perhaps I look like some gun nut with all that, I just really like to shoot, but to me the idea of having 100 rounds ready to go is just something I do all the time. Once a month I unload them all and let the springs relax for a week and then load them up again.

Why bother with trying to enforce a more strict gun law....

You can kill people just as easy with a knife or ball bat or a bow....

Why not make those a pain in the ass to get like a pistol is?

Make the kids pay $25 for a baseball bat permit and wait a weak to get that then go pay $500 for the bat.
