this is unreal! CNN also said there were 2 hours in between the first and last shots fired.

this is unreal. I have a few friends who are going to school there. this is completely shocking. and people wonder why we carry concealed. people think their little world is safe and nothing will happen. all of the sudden, you're in a fight for your life.

Read the article, then at the end, it states, "the gunman had two pistols and multiple clips of ammunition"

great news reporting.

also, the DT is now 33, including the gunman. Sad.

yeah i love it, i'm already hearing about the what do you think about gun control and blah blah blah. one well aimed bullet from a legally armed citizen would have ended this.

gun control is allowing citizens to arm and protect themselves against this sort of nonsense.

i'm really shocked we haven't heard any reports of someone attempting to stop the guy. maybe it happened and just wasn't reported on yet, but who knows.

My son is a junior industrial engineering student at VT. Fortunately he was in OH on an internship with GE aircraft and all his friends and classmates are all accounted for & ok.
He was home a couple of weeks ago and fired my Springfield XD 40 Tactical and wanted a carry pistol. Will be interesting to see his take on it now.
Prayers for all those affected by this tragedy!
