ATN Rifle Scope..... any info?
Hey guys,
I bought a ATN 4-12x60 from my buddy today. The scope is HUGE!!! I pulled the 4-12x40 Bushnell Banner off my .22-250 (Remington 700) and put this ATN on there... Man this seems to be a nice scope! I bore sighted it a few min ago, and im goin to go shoot tom. 100-600yds... well more like 400yds But his scope is 4-12x60LU has the Bullet Drop Compensators. (.223, .308, .30-06, .270, 7mm Mag, .300 Win Mag) But im goin to use it on my .22-250. Which would yall suggest i use for the Compensators. I know this is a Pistol Forum but i was hoping to get some info or help from you guys.. Thanks! Jonathan

Well, I didn;t want to say anything earlier - since you ALREADY have it - I always go out of my way to not rip people's stuff down. But, just about everthing I've read about ATN scopes/red dots has been negative.
I'm only saying this because you didn't get any replies and bumped it up. Go ask on THR website or AR15.com - U will have a bigger auduence into that stuff. This is the XD website - more handgun people here. |

+1 for shipwreck.
ATN has had problems but perhaps yours isn't one of them. I had a friend who insisted that they were great, and I bought one. Mine was good to go, his was good to go, but the next one he bought he had some problems after he dropped it. SO be careful and don't beat the ever-loving piss out of it, and you'll be fine. They aren't milspec, but you probably don't need that in a .22-250 anyways. On a positive spin, that 60 objective is the sh1t huh? Is it mildot? If it is, you need to find the sweetspot in magnification. The range estimation by the mildots are only viable for one magnification. Most likely it will be 16x or 10x. You'll notice if you are hitting distances. Good luck! |
