Opinion on HD shotgun
So I'm reading all these posts about home defense shotguns, mostly on the 870 and the 500 or 590 and now I want one. So gets to thinking about turning my 11-87 into a HD gun. Knight of Light shows me a 21" barrel so now I'm really thinking. Whats everyones opinions on using a semi-auto for HD? I like the regular stock/grip so I'm thinking I'd just need the barrel and night sights. My gun is 4+1.

It should work just fine. 4 + 1 is the same capacity I have in my Benelli Nova. I seriously doubt more capacity would be needed for home defense.
