I've often considered buying one of these...

But, if it can't be used to defend me (which, though some may disagree, I believe .22 LR is NOT a defensive round) I can't seen spending my hard earned cash on it..

Report back on how much fun it is to play with. I may buy my daughter one if she shows an interest in shooting.

I've toyed with the idea of getting a P22 and a can, not sure where I would even start with the NFA paperwork though.

Probably won't get past the "just an idea" stage, but it would be very cool.

I have a P22 myself and it is just a fun gun to go out and plink with.

Will do... will be at least until next weekend before I make it to the range but when I do, I will let you know.. I had trouble making up my mind between this and something like a Ruger Mark III or Browning Buck Mark (both fine 22LR target pistols) but decided to stay with the form and function of what we carry in this "fun gun"...

I agree with the "hard earned cash" aspect, but I had a few $$ left over from income tax return and wanted something we can have fun with that won't cost so much for ammo...

I'll be honest, that very picture is what got me thinking about that. I did a bit of research into your can, and from what I recall, it only weighs 4oz?

Is that a one-time stamp or a yearly payment for that surpressor?

One time $200 stamp. Had the paperwork returned in 21 days. Mailbox to Mailbox! They are moving fast right now. Did mine on a trust.
